Nehemiah 8:10: "For the joy of the Lord is your strength." Always remember, do not look around you, do not look at your circumstances, look up to Jesus our perfecter of Faith. And find your strength in the Lord and you will have joy and peace. In good times and in bad times it is important to put Jesus first and not your circumstances. Jesus said, "Do not worry, do not fear." Jesus overcame this world, yes we will have tribulation but be full of joy! Worship and praise Him every day. And all the worries and fear will disappear. Don't let the devil steal your joy! John 16:33: "These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” That is why it is so important to study the Word of God, meditate on the Word of God, focus on the Word of God! It is what God said that matters, not people or circumstances! Start praising and worshipping Him and you will see the change inside of you.
It is important to remember to find your strength and joy in the Lord! No matter what is going on around you, focus on Jesus. When Paul and Silas were in jail they started worshipping and praising God. And at midnight the jail doors opened. When you find your joy and strength in Jesus, you will look, walk and speak differently than the world! John 15:11: "I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow!" Let Jesus fill you with His joy and you can overcome everything. Fear, worries and anxiety will not come near you. Philippians 4:4: "Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again—rejoice!" It is so very important to sit under God's Word. Study and meditate on the Word of God day and night! Focus on Jesus. Keep your eyes on Jesus all the time. Find your strength and joy in Jesus ALONE! Your joy will overflow! 1 Peter 1:8: "Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy." Everyday you must say to yourself, "I Choose Jesus' Joy!"
