JESUS CHRIST:

Prophesies and Fulfillment of the prophesies:

Choose the correct Scripture:

1.  "Rejoice, O people of Zion! Shout in triumph, O people of Jerusalem! Look!, your king is coming to you.  He is righteous and victorious yet he is humble, riding on a donkey - riding on a donkey's colt."

A.  Joshua 10:
B.  Jeremiah 23:
C.  Ezekiel 5:
D. Zechariah 9:
E.  Isaiah 38:

2.  " The two disciples did as Jesus commanded.  They brought the donkey and the colt to him and threw their garments over the colt, and he sat on it.  Most of the crowds spread their garments on the road ahead of him, and others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road.  Jesus was in the center of the procession, and the people all around him were shouting, "Praise God for the Son of David! Blessings on the one who comes in the name of the LORD! Praise God in highest heaven!"  The entire city of Jerusalem was in uproar as he entered.  "Who is this?" they asked."

A.  Luke 17:
B.  Matthew 21:
C.  James 7:
D.  Mark 11:
E.  John 15:

3.  "And I said to them, "If you like, give me my wages, whatever I am worth, but only if you want to." So they counted out for my wages thirty pieces of silver.  And the LORD said to me, "Throw it to the potter" - this magnificent sum at which they valued me! So I took the thirty coins and threw them to the potter in the Temple of the LORD."

A.  Habakkuk 10:
B.  Amos 3:
C.  Jeremiah 35:
D.  Zechariah 11:
E.  Ezekiel 20:

4.  "The leading priests picked up the coins.  "It wouldn't be right to put this money in the Temple treasury," they said, "since it was payment for murder." After some discussion they finally decided to buy the potter's field, and they made it into a cemetery for foreigners.  That is why the field is still called the Field of Blood.  This fulfilled the prophecy of Jeremiah that says, "They took the thirty pieces of silver - the price at which he was valued by the people of Israel, and purchased the potter's field,  as the LORD directed."

A.  John 18:
B.  Matthew 27:
C.  Luke 10:
D.  Ephesians 5:
E.  Galatians 3:

5.  "Look, I am sending you the prophet Elisha before the great and dreadful day of the LORD arrives.  His preaching will turn the hearts of fathers to their children and the hearts of the children to their fathers.  Otherwise I will come and strike the land with a curse."

A.  Zechariah 9:
B.  Jeremiah 25:
C.  Isaiah 53:
D.  Ezekiel 12:
E.  Malachi 4:

6.  "John is the man to whom the Scriptures refer when they say, 'Look, I am sending my messenger ahead of you, and he will prepare your way before you.'  "I tell you the truth of all who have ever lived, none is greater than John the Baptist.  Yet even the least person in the Kingdom of Heaven is greater than he is! And from the time John the Baptist began preaching until now, the Kingdom of Heaven has been forcefully advancing, and violent people are attacking it.  For before John came, all the prophets and the law of Moses look forward to this present time.  And if you are willing to accept what I say, he is Elijah, the one the prophets said would come.  Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand!"

A.  1 John 3:
B.  Mark 15:
C.  2 Peter 2:
D.  Acts 23:
E.  Matthew 11:

7.  "The Moses called the elders of Israel together and said to them, "Go pick out a lamb or young goat for each of your families, and slaughter the Passover animal.  Drain the blood into a basin.  Then take a bundle of hyssop branches and dip it into the blood.  Brush the hyssop across the top and sides of the doorframes of your houses.  And no one may go through the door until morning.  For the LORD will pass through the land to strike down the Egyptians.  But when he sees the blood on the top and sides of the doorframe, the LORD will pass over your home.  He will not permit his death angel to enter your house and strike you down.  "Remember, these instructions are a permanent law that you and your descendants must observe forever.  When you enter the land the LORD has promised to give you, you will continue to observe this ceremony.  Then your children will ask, 'What does this ceremony mean?' And you will reply, 'It is the Passover sacrifice to the LORD, for he passed over the houses of the Israelites in Egypt.  And though he struck the Egyptians, he spared our families.' " When Moses had finished speaking all the people bowed down to the ground and worshiped."

10.  "It was the day of preparation, and the Jewish leaders didn't want the bodies hanging there the next day, which was the Sabbath (and a very special Sabbath, because it was the Passover).  So they asked Pilate to hasten their deaths by ordering that their legs be broken.  Then their bodies could be taken down.  So the soldiers came and broke the legs of the two men crucified with Jesus.  But when the came to Jesus, they saw that he was already dead, so they didn't break his legs.  One of the soldiers, however, pierced his side with a spear, and immediately blood and water flowed out.  (This report is from an eyewitness given an accurate account.  He speaks the truth so that you also may continue to believe.)
