The Importance of the Word of God!!

Did you know the Word of God is the most powerful weapon in the world?  Hebrews 4:12 "For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart." The Word of God must become a lifestyle in our lives and not a book that we read.  Joshua 1:8: "Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do." You need to focus on the Word of God and not on your circumstances.  Your circumstances is a fact but the truth is God's Word.  And truth always overrides the facts! God's Word will change you, it will transform you into the likeness of Jesus. You will look, act and speak differently than the world.  The Word of God is full of the promises of God.  Speak and focus on God's Word and His promises.  You will be protected.  It is very important to become a hearer and a doer of the Word! James 1:22-25: "But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves.  For if you listen to the word and don’t obey, it is like glancing at your face in a mirror.  You see yourself, walk away, and forget what you look like.  But if you look carefully into the perfect law that sets you free, and if you do what it says and don’t forget what you heard, then God will bless you for doing it." And your faith will also grow!  Romans 10:17: "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."  The more you  spend time in God's Word, the more your faith will grow and you can face any situation coming your way!
