Stand up for Jesus!!

Jesus died for you and me on the cross! He gave Himself so that we can live an abundantly life!!

John 10:10: "The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly."

Stand for the truth in this broken world!! Do not compromise!! You are here on this earth to please God and not men!! Stand for Him!! Do not be afraid!! He gave up everything!! Are you willing to give up everything for Jesus!! To follow Jesus and to stand up for Him comes  with at a cost!!

In Matthew 19:20: Jesus said: " If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also."

Matthew 19:29: "And everyone who has given up houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or property, for my sake, will receive a hundred times as much in return and will inherit eternal life."

Stand, stand, stand for Jesus and the truth!! Do not be aftraid!! Do not compromise!! Friends and family will turn their backs on you, but Jesus will never leave you or forsake you!! Do not be ashamed to follow Jesus!! He gave His life for you!!

Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life!! Follow Him always no matter the cost!! God is your Rewarder, not men!! Stand stand stand for the truth!! Do not focus on what is going on around you.  Focus on Jesus Himself!! Do not fear men!!

Psalm 118:6: "The LORD is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?"

Stay at the foot of the cross and stand!! Jesus is Life!!

Read Daniel 3 and Daniel 6!! Daniel and his friends stood up for God and see how God come through for them!! Daniel's friends ended up in a blazing furnace and God protected them from the fire!! Daniel was thrown into a lion's den and the lions didn't touched him because God closed their mouths!!

The world is getting worse and more worse!! But Jesus is our Rock!! Never give up and never give in!! Stand for the truth!! The truth is Jesus!!

Remember as a Born Again believer we can never compromise!! We must stand for the truth even if it's you alone. But the Lion of Judah is always with you!!

1 John 4:4: "because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world."

Jesus lives in you and me!! Stand up for Him!! Let your light shine for Jesus!!

What is Faith?

Look at Abrham's life.  When God ordered Abraham to sacrifice his son, Isaac.  Abraham didn't have a panic attack or say to God, "Sorry God, I can't sacrifice Isaac." No, he did exactly what God ordered him to do. On the altar before Abraham he was prepared to slaughter his son but God stopped him. A ram appeared and Abraham could use the ram and not Isaac for a sacrifice.  We walk by faith and not by sight.  We have to focus on Jesus and not what is going around us.  Peter is also a great example.  He steps out of the boat onto the water and starts walking on the water, but when he took his focus off Jesus and saw the storm he started drowning.  Always have faith in God.  Don't look at your surroundings.  Start worhipping God, start praising Him.  He will never fail you.  Hebrews 11:1: "Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see." It is impossible to please God without faith. Noah built an ark with no signs of rain.  After the ark was finished and Noah was in the ark, it started raining.  Don't look at the problem or your situations. Focus on Jesus!

Faith is believe and see together, no matter the circumstances.  There are so many faith heroes in the Bible.  Like Daniel.  He didn't panic because there were lions, he didn't have a panic attack.  He had faith in God! With his faith, the lions didn't touch him.  Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, Daniel's friends, didnt go into a panic attack or run away or turn their back on God, they were thrown into a very very hot fire because of their faith.  And you know what happened?  Because of their faith, the fire didn't even touch them, and they didnt even smell like fire. Joseph never gave up his faith too! He went from a pit to a palace.  Even when Potiphar's wife falsely accused Joseph and Joseph was thrown into jail, he never gave up his faith.  He still had faith in God! Always know God is on your side and you don't have to fear anything.  Because of his faith, David overcame Goliath and had  many challenges. Look at Paul and Silas, when they were thrown into jail, they start praising God and look what happened.  The jail door opened.  Start praising God, worship Him all the time! Have faith in God!! Study Hebrews 11 and write down all the names of faith heroes and study how their faith helped them to get out of situations.

 "Those who live in the shelter of the Most High

will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

This I declare about the Lord:

He alone is my refuge, my place of safety;

he is my God, and I trust him.

For he will rescue you from every trap

and protect you from deadly disease.

He will cover you with his feathers.

He will shelter you with his wings.

His faithful promises are your armor and protection.

Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night,

nor the arrow that flies in the day.

Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness,

nor the disaster that strikes at midday.

Though a thousand fall at your side,

though ten thousand are dying around you,

these evils will not touch you.

Just open your eyes,

and see how the wicked are punished.

 If you make the Lord your refuge,

if you make the Most High your shelter,

no evil will conquer you;

no plague will come near your home.

For he will order his angels

to protect you wherever you go.

They will hold you up with their hands

so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone.

You will trample upon lions and cobras;

you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet!

 The Lord says, “I will rescue those who love me.

I will protect those who trust in my name.

When they call on me, I will answer;

I will be with them in trouble.

I will rescue and honor them.

I will reward them with a long life

and give them my salvation."
